Known Issues

Permissions on /etc/simp

On SIMP systems prior to SIMP 6.4, permissions on /etc/simp were too restrictive for the simp-console user to read license keys and configuration.

If it is not possible to upgrade SIMP to 6.4 or later (or to upgrade the simp-simp Puppet module to at least version 4.8.1), as a workaround set an ACL on the /etc/simp directory with the following command:

setfacl -m u:simp-console:rx /etc/simp
