Installing SIMP EE

Server Installation

Installation Method Description Detailed Instructions
Basic install Install SIMP Server and EE components on a new server in an environment not already using Puppet. Server install from RPM
Isolated environment Install SIMP Server and EE components into an environment where access to the Internet is restricted or non existent and not already using Puppet. Server install from ISO
Upgrade from previous SIMP EE version Install a new version of SIMP EE on an existing SIMP Server. Upgrade SIMP EE
Add to an existing Puppet environment Add SIMP Server and EE components to your Puppet environment via R10k, GitLab, or other Continuous Integration platform. Server installation via Control Repo

Client Installation

SIMP Enterprise requires a Puppet agent be installed and configured properly for enforcement and Compliance Engine reporting functionality. Please follow the official Puppet agent installation procedures.

Console Installation
